Dental Check-up & Cleanings

We recommend patients to have an annual or periodic dental check-up in an annual or periodic fashion. The exam may or may not be accompanied with x-rays depending on the needs of the individual patient and the recommendations of the doctor. A cleaning, or prophylaxis, is done for patients who do not have periodontal or gum disease and is usually performed twice a year, or more frequently if determined necessary by the treating dentist and hygienist.
